FLH Portas do Sol Duplex with Terrace

Location was great, with three balconies with nice views. It is a cool part of town and on a cute alleyway. The bright apartment has easy access to viewing platforms and little bakeries.

Wrong door code on arrival. Insufficient plates and utensils in kitchen even though we specified we would be cooking as it was Christmas. Only two dinner plates, we asked for more, they sent more dessert bowls. No wine glasses at all. Broken glass on coffee machine. No oven glove. One dishcloth. One dishwasher tablet and no washing up liquid. No hand towels for bathroom.

Space and light in the apartment was wonderful as was the view from the balconies, and location perfect as our favorite area.

We were on the top floor and the lift didn’t work the whole time we were there, so the stairs are hard work if you have any mobility issues. No umbrella is provided on the large terrace so we couldn’t sit out to eat breakfast or lunch as it was too hot.

Very spacious apartment with all the required amenities and in a great location for exploring the city.

The shower was filthy. Covered in mould, and the drain was completely blocked with hair. This needs attention.

Only the location and the size of the terrace.

Very bad hygiene. The entire shower was covered in mold. The pictures made the apt look big, but it wasn't at all. No adult person can stand up when trying to use the lavatory in the bathroom or kitchen due to the low roof ceilings. The cupboards only contained 3 glasses, 3 mugs, 3 plates, ... (but all needed cleaning before using them), but the kitchen had no towels or much utensils. We didn't even wanted to cook here, so didn't look at the pans.

Good size….spotlessly clean,in a good area for eating out and getting the 28 tram into the city centre.

On the last day the code lock on the front door would not work and we had to ring through to another apartment to get them to open the door. Also,only three cups in the press,instead of four…..but not a major problem,just an observation.

Description is wrong : it’s not a duplex but on one floor only. 2 double beds available, not 3 beds as described.

A well renovated apartment with plenty of outside space on the balconies. A good location within easy reach of most of the main sights of central Lisbon.

On arrival in Lisbon we had to make four telephone calls before being given the codes to the front door of the building and the door of the apartment. For a stay of five nights, we were given one tiny bar of soap, four sachets of shower gel and no spare rubbish bags. The sloping ceiling in the bathroom means that anyone over five feet (1.5m) tall will have great difficulty in using the washbasin. The induction hob does not work with the aluminium pans provided. It would have saved us a lot of inconvenience if a note had been stuck on the dishwasher saying that it was broken.
