Charming Home in Sintra Village

Great location near train station. Wonderful balcony.

Every little thing has been thought of with this apartment. It was comfortable for our family of four and perfectly located in Historic Sintra.

Nothing. Parking lot was often full, but that’s to be expected. Very few places in this part of sintra even have free parking so it was great.

Very spacious and full of light. Darkening curtains were available. Kitchen was very big and stocked with cutlery and pots/pans. Both bedrooms had good storage. Water pressure and temperature in shower was good. Bathroom sink did not get hot water easily. Living room had good furniture and throws. Master bedroom and living room opened to the patio. Patio had an outdoor dining table and loungers. Two portable electric space heaters were available. I was allowed to leave my luggage at unit at 1 pm while it was being prepared. Access is slightly tricky. Flat walk from Sintra station to the stairs on main street. From main street go up about 50 stairs and the unit is in the yellow building on left (2nd. Entrance). We took Uber to local attractions and Cabo da Roca (uber was cheaper than 434/435 bus). Pingo is about 10 minutes walk. Couple of Indian restaurants and bakery/cafe down the stairs. T

Wonderful property in a great Sintra location

There was some construction noise from a neighboring unit but that was no fault of the owner of our rental

The location was excellent for us! Easy walk to old town and train station. Caught the 434 bus there too. Due to time constraints we did not make use of the apartment other than bed and bath.

Parking was not an issue for us ….We were able to have parking right in front of the building and never moved. It was rather tight for what we are accustomed to!

Location and size of the apartment are great

I didn’t realize it was in an apartment building with neighbors on each side of the outdoor space looking at you. The kitchen faucet needs a handle and general maintenance and the weak shower water pressure makes showering uncomfortable. Also the housekeeper forgot to leave out the crib so we had to wait for hours for her to come back, unlock the crib from the closet and set it up. Also the maid was waiting for us to leave outside the door at 1050, felt so rushed and overwhelmed.

The location was perfect. The beds were fantastic.
