Douro River Apartments

Fantastic apartment in a great location with an awesome view

The seagulls are loud early the morning, but they are everywhere so I don’t think you can avoid that. Bathroom is a bit small.

I really admire the great view on Porto. The apartment was super clean, equipped with everything someone possibly could need. And Paula is a really friendly host.

In fact everything was amazing but for the fact that there’s no lift in the building and that I had to carry my suitcase on my own to the top floor. On the other site this was great in order to do not gain weight from the amazing food in Porto.

The view was perfect, the location very nice. The bathroom a bit small, but good enough for a couple of days. Since I was outside a lot, I thought it was great that the location was smack in the center of Porto. The river taxi can take you across and walking is also fairly easy around the river.

The bathroom was a little too small maybe.

Outstanding views. The room was simply exceptional and I will for sure come back here again. Paula was a very nice amazing guest.

The view over the Durou River towards the old town was beautiful. The location was only a couple of minutes walk to very nice restaurants and wine tasting. Very close to the bridge to walk to attractions on the other side of the river or you can catch water taxi. Apartment very clean and comfortable with everything you need. Bathroom was compact but served its purpose and was very clean.Supermarket at top of the hill behind apartment. Parking station nearby 12 Euro per day. Host was very lovely andl met us on site to provide keys and lots of useful information.

A room with two views in an excellent location. Top marks to whoever converted this compact space so cleverly, there’s everything you need for a short stay. The linen was lovely, fresh and white, we didn’t cook (why would you?) but the kitchen was well equipped and spotlessly clean. Whilst the bathroom is tiny, it’s been well fitted and fine for people who are OK with stairs and small spaces. We also enjoyed the privacy & excellent Wifi which we needed to plan our onward tour of Portugal 🇵🇹

Nothing - this place would be no good for people with small children, or stairs, or fear of small spaces.
