My Lisbon Apartment with AC

Great location. It was very walkable, but not in a loud part of town.

The Internet was not working. Despite calling several times, this was an issue. There is no AC which turned out not to be a problem in May, but could be at other times of the year.

Location and size

No central heating only small space heaters in middle of winter. Not acceptable 2 long staircases to enter apartment. Very difficult to with luggage

The location is absolutely amazing. Easy walking (no steep hill, which is a bonus in Lisbon). Clean and comfortable. Expertly renovated. ALDI nearby. Try out Stanislav Brunch a few steps away. Kitchen if fully equipt, but didn't use it -there's too many good local options.

The apartment is amazing. For a family of 5 it is perfect and spacious. Location wise it’s very good and a short walk to the centre. There is an Aldi opposite which is handy. Communication from the hosts was brilliant before, during and after our stay. Would recommend.

There is a small tv in the apartment but a bigger one would have been nice when we settled down at the end of the day to watch something on tv. This is only a very small observation and did not take away from the amazing experience of the apartment.

Beautiful apartment, has everything you need for a family stay. It's very spacious and comfortable and tastefully furnished with lots of Portuguese art and crafts, which we appreciated. The apartment is located very close to Avenida Metro and the Avenida de Liberdade. You can walk easily down the Avenida to Baixa, where the main shops and good transport / metro links are located. The kitchen is fully equipped, so it is great for self catering. There are two bathrooms, also great for families. The staff are very helpful in person and at check-in and via Booking.com to help with any queries and help. Check in was very good with Tiago, especially as we were a bit delayed due to long queues at Border Control. Check out was easy. I highly recommend this apartment and would love to stay here again. It's a remodelled old apartment, it has high ceilings and large rooms, so feels very spacious, would be nice and cool in summer. The weather was great in December but a little chilly in the morning and evening, so we needed to use the plug in heaters, which soon heated up the rooms. The kitchen has an American diner, so it's very sociable when cooking dinner, we loved that. We had a great stay.

A minor issue with the water being slow to drain in one bathroom but apart from this, I can't think of anything. Perhaps a few small additions for families with children, for example : have a lower rail for children to hang their clothes, as my daughter could not reach the rail in the wardrobe, and a peg for child coats, we used the chair instead. A child seat in the bathroom would be great so as not to have to travel with this. Some child friendly plates and cups and cutlery would make a family stay perfect. We had brought our own.
