Apartamentos da Orada by Garvetur

The Appartment was very nice and good feeling, with some personalised art on the walls, and quite large so that one could conveniently live there, also during the few rainy days ... kitchen was fully equipped with cutlery and dishes.

We picked keys from the locker, and smoothly got into the Appartment, however, getting a new general keycard as replacement for the not working one was not easy. Furthermore, the Appartment is a bit aged and many tiny things could use repair, including a new tablecloth replacing the sticky one which we found on arrival. The noise and dirt level was high due to ongoing outside renovations in our block, which was unlucky, should be finished soon for future clients. Last comment, it would be nice to have at least a minimal number of coffee pads for the first morning, and a minimal number of cleaning equipment, more than the few drops of dishwashing liquid, and some sponge or washcloth.

2 x Single beds . Mattress were like a rock . No Hairdrier / Toaster . No Air Conditioning. Sheets on bed weren't changed all Week . Cleaner only came once for the Week. Towels only changed once for the week .

Cristina from Garvetur was very helpful, contacted us before we got to the property to explain check in, and fixed a problem with the shower on the same day. Location is excellent, close to the marina and a 25 minute walk to albufeira centre. Pool area was peaceful, plenty of sun beds. Wifi is included. The apartment block is well kept and cleaned regularly. Parking is included.

When we checked in, Cristina explained there was a problem with the back patio doors that they didn't lock properly, they had tried to resolve the problem with a drill bit but the patio doors easily slid open, which being on the ground floor caused us problems in terms of security. There was no safe in the property so we had to take all money and passports with us every time we left the property. The walls of the property are quite thin so you can hear neighbour's easily.
