MSPC Alfama Charming

The apartment was neat and clean with open rooms and a great view of the Tagas River from both bedrooms and living room/dining room. Linens and towels were comfortable and the kitchen had a nice variety of dishes and glassware. Ceiling and floor fans were appreciated. Joana was an excellent communicator and responded quickly to provide requested items. The concierge service she provided was also excellent.

The apartment did not have air conditioning but the temperature was mild so we were able to open windows with nice breeze off the river paired with fans kept the air moving. Street traffic was sometimes noisy and fog horn from cruise ship was loud. Initially bothered by entrance from back alley but ultimately was not a problem - laundry business by the back entrance provided a pleasant fresh scent!

This is a lovely little apartment.

It was very warm in the apartment, even though it was raining and cool outside. Opening the wooden doors was a little bit precarious. Also, the lighting was very poor. Lovely apartment but not enough lighting in the bedrooms and in the kitchen, etc..

The apartment was nice and offered lots of space for us. There were even some toys our son could play with.

The apartment is extremely noisy due to a 4 lane and busy road 24/7 just in front of the bedrooms and the windows did not close properly so that we could not sleep at all. You feel like living next to a highway. We would never come back. One reminder: the apartment has NO air conditioning so on warm and sunny days it gets very warm inside and since you can’t open the windows due to street.

Beautiful, spacious and comfortable apartment convenient to shops, restaurants and sites in the Alfama. Joana was very easy to communicate with. The apartment was spotless with nice amenities.

A bit noisy for sure, but so much is in the historic center of European cities.

Showers - both shower heads are in need of repair. You have to hold it in your hand the whole time.

street noise all day and most of night. clothes washer had only symbols-owners manual would be helpful. some light bulbs burnt out. wood floors are nice but creaky

Beautiful and large apartment in a convenient location. Plenty of cafes and restaurants within walking distance.

The alleyway getting to the apartment was a little sketchy at night. Other than that, it was a great stay!
