Apartamento nas Olaias a 5 minutos da Faculdade ISEL e IST

We could not find the place, it was late, we are old people in a foreign country, so after several attempts, we decided to stay somewhere else and lose the money paid for the reservation.

The living area was just a couch in the kitchen. The light the bathroom doe not stay on. There was no Toaster and some of the cooking pans did not work with the induction stove. There was only one wine glass.

Nice. peaceful. Enjoying good with family

The house is beautiful and big, all the household items are available.

When we first walked in the door I really liked the look of the apartment and was happy with what I saw but then has time went on there were a few things were unhappy about. The photos look amazing online but there were a few issues with some things. Hairs on the floor behind the toilet and I had to wash some of the dishes before using them which I didn’t expect to do as a cleaning fee is charged so I would expect it to be cleaned thoroughly.

It was a bit disappointing to have woken up on the last morning we were for myself my husband and our 2 children were not even able to enjoy a hot shower the water was cold it was hot to start with and then went cold after 5 minutes. Also the people above us understandably had to move around but u could hear every footstep there was noise throughout the building all night long. My daughter in the end couldn’t even shower before we left today cause of the water being cold and I specifically chose this apartment as it said the facilities were good and the comfort but unfortunately the reviews couldn’t have been very truthful as I really wasn’t happy with a few things.

Beds were comfy, apartment was clean and neat but very small, not really big enough for 4 people.

It was incredibly noisy. Master bedroom was located at front of apartment which was next to the stairwell and entry door to get into apartment complex. Other residents were in and out at all times of the night and between the front digital door lock beeping and the loud doors opening as well as people clomping up and down the stairs, it wasn't great for sleeping. Walls seemed to be thin and we could hear the people above us snoring, moving around and their alarms going off. It was like a heard of elephants. Whilst there was a washing machine, there was no way to dry clothes as there was no clothesline (a very small clotheshorse was provided) and the tiny courtyard was in the shade most of the day and enclosed by high concrete walls. A few more amenities would have been good also as we only had one rubbish bag, 1 towel per person (and no way to dry them after washing them), 2 rolls of loo paper to last a family of 4 for 2 weeks. Lamps had no lightglobes either.

Size of bedroom was okay

Kitchen and bathroom need to be updated old and rusty. Bedroom with two single beds was dark and uncomfortable.. kitchen was dark old and rusty fridge was super old. Bathroom need update.
