Endemic - Concept Apartment

The apartment is very a very spacious two bed in the heart of Funchal with everything you might need for a comfortable stay. The host was very welcoming and helpful. Views of the City are wonderful from the balcony where you can sit and relax or eat with your family. Everything is close by including the Old Town, restaurants, public transport and cable car. We had an excellent stay and would return when next in Madeira.

The one small caution would be that the apartment is accessed by flights of stairs which may be difficult for people of limited mobility although this was not a problem for us.

Beautiful spacious apartment in the old city center in front of the sea and a beautiful view on the city! We definitely recommend this place for a stay for family or friends vacation. It's right in the historical city center, surrounded by restaurants and bars, however it's very quiet as the windows and the terrace are not on the busy street. There is a small supermarket in the same building and a big store in about 5 mins away. You can walk along the sea till Ronaldo's museum, go to swim on the beach or Praia da Barreirinha, take the teleferico up on the hill to visit gardens or hop from bar to bar trying dif taste of poncha. The apartment itself is gorgeous and has everything you would need for a comfortable stay. Beds are very comfortable, kitchen is big and has everything necessary, good shower, beach towels and beach/grocery bags. Sunny terrace is a enormous, we would always have our breakfast there and in the evening enjoying city night lights and mountain view. Hostes, Sofia, is very kind! She met me to pass the keys, showed everything in the apartment, provided free parking space and send us a list with her fav suggestions for food! I also was able to drop my bag for the first half of the day as I was traveling in the evening so I can enjoy my last hours in Funchal. Thank you Sofia! It was an amazing holiday!

Everything was great. The apartament is really close to the center, with an amazing view, clean and really cool decorated. Also Sofia was really really friendly, helped us with transfer and left us some amazing places to visit. Would totally come back here ❤️

We loved it. There was not something that we did not like.

The location couldn’t be better. Next to the popular areas for food and drinks but without the noise. Close to the sea, bus station, cable car and market. PERFECT. The vibe of the apartment was really cool with a great balcony with views of the moutain and cable car, as well as a hand painted feature wall for some cool pictures. Sofia was so helpful from the moment we booked providing lots of recommendations as well as the options to book hiking or canyoning trips through their other business too.

Fans were provided which helped manage the heat at night but if it was any hotter I think an air con unit would be a great addition :)

Wonderful apartment in the old center of Funchal. Very stylish decorated and everything you need at hand. Nice large teras at the back to relax and overlooking the city. Parking was close. Sofia was very helpful if we had any questions and also gave us many tips for restaurants. We are now a great fan of the Portuguese kitchen.

Really nice large balcony, comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen in a very central location. Great view of the mountains from the balcony.

Lots of stairs

The location was excellent. The parking was in a garage right across the road. It had an excellent huge balcony that looked over the mountains and the cable car.The apartment had excellent soundproofing which was a surprise because it overlooks a busy restaurant street. Great gelato just around the corner.

You do have to walk up about 68 steps get to this apartment. That did not affect us even though we are well into our 70s because we are quite fit. But for some people that would be a consideration If you have any mobility issues.
