Casa Santa Marinha

Gemütlich eingerichtetes Appartment mit besonders schönen Fußböden, in sehr ruhiger Lage in der Alfama. Schlüsselübergabe problemlos mit Box, netter Kontakt über WhatsApp mit Vermieterin. Sehr gutes Bett, kleiner Balkon mit Sitzgelegenheit. Alles sauber und sicher. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden es wieder buchen.

The location was excellent and the property was very clean

The kitchen equipment was lacking. There were no adequately sized soup/cereal bowls. There was no washing up bowl an the sink plug did not work

Received a text with keycode

The fan in the bathroom did not work - therefore the bathroom was permanently damp/wet. There were insufficient towel rails to hang wet towels on for four adults and it meant that we ha wet towels for our whole stay at the apartment. We then experienced a water shut down on Friday 24th October, which was reported immediately we realised the problem. The Host was apologetic but no update was given. We rang four times and each time were told it was a problem with the whole block and that it would be sorted asap. This was a very difficult day for us - being the day before the Lisbon Marathon and we needed to prepare food, etc. All this had to be conducted with bottled water. No showers could be taken before bedtime. In the morning we rose at 5am to prepare for the Marathon, luckily the water had been reinstated! At no time were we provided with bottled water, any apology, any update or any compensation. I complained at the time, but have still not heard anything from the Host.

The apartment was situated in the old town which gave you a very special feeling of historical value. We found everything we needed for our stay a week. The information from our host was excellent. We highly recommend it for a few days stay in Lissabon.

The sofa in the living room was supposed to be an extra sleeping couch - it really wasn’t!!

Er miste wat ventilatie. De lucht was enorm droog. Er kon snachts geen raam open zonder volledig geluif en licht van buiten te hebben
