Space in-patient.. great location

Apartment was 1st floor partly under ground so bit dark.

A minor thing and that is Not able to leave when check out unless someone else comes in. It would be great when you have to check out to have an option to open the gates from the inside as you have to leave the keys at the apartment.

The apartment was in an excellent location for walking into town. I felt very safe. The apartment was very spacious.. lovely bathrooms. Ample kitchen. (I had to improvise to light the gas stove as there was no way to light it.

My only less than happy situation was that the apartment was half underground which meant enjoying the verandah was not possible. I would definitely stay there again but would ask for a higher level to enjoy the fresh air and sunshine. The washing machine leaked out through the detergent dispenser drawer.

Location and free parking was ideal

Very comfortable and equipped apartment. Like at home. Really very big and comfortable. There is also a garage in the residence. Very close to some good restaurants, car rental (we recommend https://rentcarmadeira.com/ on main street), bus stop, ...

Most of the apartment is below ground level. Not enough natural sunlight. No view at all.
