Lisbon Center Modern Art Apartment

Very comfortable, clean with lovely furnishings. Excellent central location.

I loved the location, even though in was in the popular square with restaurants nearby the noise was minimal and silent at 11pm. I loved the newly renovated 2 bedroom apartment. It was tastefully decorated and spacious. I loved it had an elevator and 2 bathrooms.

It didn’t have any outlets in both bathrooms to blow dry your hair. There was also no mirrors in both bedrooms so it also couldn’t be used as an alternative. The sink in the bathroom was a bit clotted. Nothing that can’t be fixed so hopefully they will and it would be perfect.

Fabulous apartment in the centre of Lisbon. Great location, right in the pedestrian heart of the city, with lots of restaurants and bars. Short walk to all the main tourist attractions. The apartment was new and decorated to a high standard with lots of amenities, including hair dryer, clothes dryer and iron. The kitchen was well equipped with a big fridge and freezer, coffee machine & pods, toaster, etc, and sufficient glasses, crockery and kitchen utensils. There was also oil, salt & pepper and water in the cupboard which was good. The apartment also had a washing machine and a dishwasher, and a huge TV. The bedrooms were big and both had aircon, although we didn't need to use it during our stay. The 2 bathrooms were a bonus. Some original features had been kept such as the beam in the master bedroom. The apartment building had a small lift, which was great as we were staying on the 3rd floor. The communication with the host was excellent and they even messaged me during the stay to check everything was satisfactory. Entry to the building and the apartment was easy via a key code. The apartment was perfect for our stay and I would highly recommend it and would stay here again.

We loved the apartment and none of the below are major criticisms but just advice to make the apartment even better. A welcome pack would have been useful with instructions on how to use the washing machine and dishwasher and where things were in the flat, eg, we didn't find the ironing board until the last day as it was behind the clothes rail in the second bedroom, and also what to do with the rubbish, etc, on checkout. Also, note that you have to leave cash for the tourist tax in the apartment, but the request was on a small slip of paper on the coffee table and we could easily have missed it. The drainage in the bathrooms was sometimes poor, so the water in the shower came high in the shower tray, but a plunger was provided. We also had a drainage smell in the ensuite bathroom and so used the toilet in the other bathroom. There was noise from people sitting in restaurants in the street below and also every morning from the garbage collectors which may annoy people that are noise sensitive, but the aircon may mask this in the summer.

Great location. Well stocked kitchen. Very clean and comfortable. Never met manager, just messages but got key code on arrival and everything worked smoothly. Overall highly recommend for a fun stay in Lisbon
