Access to property was easy. Information provided by host was amazing and very helpful, how to get supermarket, restaurants etc.

Lovely apartment in Baixa! Everything we needed. Location was right in busy area on a pedestrian street with only a tram line, no cars. Kitchen was stocked well enough to cook in a few times. Walkable to all the sights. And a lovely little terrace to have a cocktail and enjoy the street activity. Good communication! Don’t be scared by the electronic door entry. Just download an app and the rest is very easy with their instructions. Thank you! Would highly recommend!

The location could not have been better. Perfectly placed to get to most anywhere by walking. The apartment was a great size and clean and had enough amenities to make for a comfortable 5 day stay.

Due to airline problems beyond our control, we arrived nearly 12 hours later than expected, closer to midnight and found only a dark street and closed door. I was not able to contact anyone during the day so we arrived with no way to get in. Fortunately, a resident was beyond helpful and we did get into the apartment. We were well aware we owed another 40 euro but never saw anyone until the final day to pay. There was obviously a language problem and while waiting for a note or some communication, we went on with our days, expecting to pay the money but not realizing it was a major situation. It seems the host had only one method of communication which was whatsup which we were totally unfamiliar with. The final confrontation was not pleasant and we will never again stay in a place without a manager on premise.

Location, location, location! Gorgeous views, bedroom and spare mattress in separate rooms, constant hot water, beautiful tiny terrace

I found the spare mattress under the roof uncomfortable. Some nights there was sudden and loud water pipe noise around midnight. There was no shower/bath gel so had to buy one and leave it behind. We are supposed to take the trash out but there were no bags anywhere to do so! Late checkout after 10AM available for €55

Perfect location but the apartment is located on a street that prohibits car traffic, so once you’re dropped off in the neighborhood you have to carry your luggage over cobblestone streets. Not a big deal if you only have a bag or two and the weather is good, but if it’s raining and you have several heavy bags it’s challenging. The apartment is roomy, clean and cozy, we loved the terrace. We opted for an apartment so we could cook our meals, but couldn’t find a market that sold meats, fish or poultry. There must be one somewhere, but our host couldn’t tell us where. It could be the language barrier, unfortunately we don’t speak Portuguese or Spanish. We finally gave up. Loved that the apartment had a washer, we’re on a 45 day vacation so this was a huge bonus. There is no dryer, but there is a clothes line and plenty of pins. If you have warm sunny weather, it’s perfect. We visited in mid November, it was cooler and damp, so it took a few days for jeans to dry. There is a church across the street, so you hear the bells occasionally. Easy walk to lots of restaurants, bars, transit options.

The apartment is in an excellent location which is very centrally located with a lovely little place just across the road for breakfast in the morning. My son had his daily shot of coffee and 3 pastei de natas every morning before we commenced sightseeing. It has all the facilities you need including a washing machine which we needed. There are supermarkets within walking distance and a number of restaurants just around the corner. There is an excellent place for pizza slices around the corner. Very close to public transport, The host Maria was in contact with us from the start of the booking and ensured that our stay was hassle free
