Apartamento Lar doce Lar Porto

Un apartamento amplio, limpio y luminoso. Bien equipado, fácil aparcamiento en la calle, buen internet.

Una habitación es interior aunque tiene una ventana que da al salón. Quizás alguna sartén más por poner algo que mejorar.

This is a lovely flat reasonably near to the centre. In normal temperatures we would have walked into the centre of town, but Ubers are very reasonable (5 or 6 euros). The route Google Maps shows you for walking down to river is a bit hair-raising, better to turn right out of the apartment block for quieter roads. The area is residential (apart from the attractive wine lodge next door) and well provided with cafes and shops. There is a small, well stocked supermarket opposite the flat, that sells fresh fish and meat, and a good fruit and veg shop 2 mins away. The kitchen was very well equipped and there were fans in every room. The rooms were basically, but attractively, furnished with adequate storage and comfortable beds. Excellent shower rooms with good water pressure and plenty of hot water. Everywhere was spotless. We could not initially log on to the Wifi, but the owner was very responsive when we contacted him, and sorted out the problem very quickly. TheWifi was good.

I would have given a 10 score, except for a couple of things related to heat-control. I would definitely go again in cooler months. If I were going again in July/ August, I would probably try and find a property with aircon. The flat was well equipped with fans and 2 rooms had very efficient 'persiana' blinds. However, the kitchen has only very flimsy blinds and the blind in one bedroom wasn't working. With these in place, I think the heat could have been controlled adequately for all but the most aircon-dependent!

Vraiment bien l emplacement commerce et des cafés a proximité. Surpris de la beauté de l appartement mieux que sur les photos. L hote prend des nouvelles souvent sympathique. Les bus sont à côté pour aller dans le centre de porto où à la plage. On peut faire à pied si on aime marcher. Les caves de porto juste à 2 pas a faire vraiment génial et bien d autres activités. Franchement on retournera. Ya tout ce qu il faut pour la cuisine 2 salles de bain 2 wc parfait. N hésitez pas vous serez pas déçu .parking gratuit.

Creo que le haría falta aire acondicionado. A pesar de que había ventiladores en todas las habitaciones, pasamos mucho calor.

Graham's winery was next door with a beautiful patio and a stunning view over the river and the bridge - really nice place to spend a hot afternoon or end off the day for a drink and a view. Location was good - easy to walk down to the river, to a large grocery store, or hop on a bus that went to downtown Porto. There was an enclosed nearby park for the kids to play and lots of cafes to find snacks and treats nearby. There apartment was nice, had good sized rooms, everything we needed for our stay, and big fans to help circulate air on hot evenings.

There were clear signs for no running. We had a toddler that wasn't going to listen to that 100% and every time they ran across the floor or squealed too loudly we got angry sounding bangs on the floor from the people in the apartment below. We tried to keep our kids quiet to not disturb the neighbours but the floors were wooden and echoed with every step and toy drop so we felt a little like our family was seen as a nuisance. That said, everyone we encountered in or around the building was really lovely and often went out of their way to hold doors or help with the stroller.

The owners HAD to pay people for superb and excellent reviews (look at the pictures)!!!! This place IS NOT near water!!!! I paid over $750 to stay in an apartment that was supposed to include entire use of the apartment. When I arrived, the building was dirty and people had clothes and junk in the window. There was MOLD in the bathroom, the kitchen was dirty (fridge was old and rusty!!!!), and the apartment smelled stale. There were three locked doors in the apartment; only one bedroom was accessible. I felt UNSAFE and was afraid because I had no idea why three bedrooms were locked. Also, there was a man in the adjacent building looking into my window. This property was like a hostel, not an apartment. And the home owners still live there. I left the property because the advertisement was false. And the building was dirty and looked like it should not include an Air BnB. I lost $750 because the owner would not reimburse me any of my money due to false advertisement. However, my safety is more important. I would not advise anyone to rent this property, especially if you are traveling alone and don't like being in an apartment with THREE locked doors!!!! There was NO BEACH accessible from the property and NO mini mart on the property!!!!! Creepiest place I've been yet!!!! Not representative of what Booking.com should allow.

Inside was clean, 2 full bathrooms, 3 bedrooms, functioning TV since location is quite remote in a residential neighbourhood which is quiet.

Location. Exterior of apartment seemed old but interior is well upgraded and clean. Check in was a bit confusing and nervous with changes but host accommodated in the end.
