CAIS APARTMENT by Stay in Alentejo

Nice apartment ,sadly, I travelled late and out of season to really enjoy the location, with visiting again another time ,a well equiped place to stay it's a little difficult to find ,Google maps is the answer

Alles sehr sauber, großzügig und nett.

Der Balkon ging zum Parkplatz- das war der einzige Minuspunkt. Aber da der Blick ins Grüne hinter dem Parkplatz trotzdem sehr schön war und wir den ganzen Tag draußen waren, fehlte uns der Draußenplatz nicht unbedingt

The apartment is spacious, well equipped and spotlessly clean in a central location. The town is delightful with a good selection of restaurants and beaches.

Communications!!! Following instructions sent on WhatsApp we called the management 10 minutes ahead of our arrival. No response. Made several calls to the same number over the course of 40 minutes. No reply. Searched Booking.com site for another number . A young man responded and said he would be there shortly. We waited in the car park with no shade for another 45 minutes. When he arrived without apology for the wait, the meet and greet was very basic and abrupt. In future we will stick to booking accomodation run directly by owners only who offer so much more than representatives of companies! The parking was a nightmare. Tiny inadequate car park for many apartments. Unable to find a spot , we looked for parking on the street outside which was also full. Eventually we parked by the harbour which was a steep walk back uphill. Not ideal for the elderly !!!
