CAIS APARTMENT by Stay in Alentejo

The location

It look like me and the neighbours, we were sharing the same apartment. Super thin walls

The place is in the quiet centre. We had our own parking lot. The sun was only in the morning. In summer probably the is advantage. In November it was hard. The nights were cold but the flat has climate and extra heater and it was possible to survive.

Everything was perfect. The temperature outside and Portuguese style of building cannot be corrected. In November it was cultural experience.

Good location and spacious enough for a small family. Well fitted with appliances. friendly staff that answered all our requests.

although we didn’t notice at the beginning the floor was quite dirty overall. we only noticed once we started walking bare foot around the apartment. kind of as if we were the first guests of the season in a way and the floor wasn’t given a proper clean up. the hair dryer did not work al all. most likely broken and the wife complained. 😅

One of the better appointed apartments we have had over 4 months of travel. Great bed, well stocked kitchen, convenient location to walk to everything. Staff quickly arrived to let us in.

We stayed in the apartment for 2 days and really enjoyed our time. The place is exactly as advertised, super clean, and with all the necessary things (just make sure to bring shampoo/shower gel). The balcony is great for morning coffee or evening wine! The yard is quiet and there is a parking lot right outside the building. There's a really nice cocktail bar right around the corner that works even on Mondays (!), as well as some good restaurants/cafes within 5 minutes of walking. The town beach is nearby and it's really pretty, however, we went further away by car to hike.

The floor is all tiled and therefore cold, so sleepers are a must. We understand it's a practical thing but a couple of carpets would make the place much cozier. Also, the door to the building was tricky to open so we struggled for the first few times getting in.
