Luxury City Center Apartment – Garofita Romana

L'appartamento andava bene ed si trovava a circa 20 minuti a piedi dal centro in una palazzina tenuta bene. Noi siamo arrivati con la macchina e per parcheggiare in zona non abbiamo avuto problemi a trovare posto.

La biancheria del letto e degli asciugamani presentava delle macchie. I condizionatori non rinfrescavano più di tanto sopratutto se si utilizzavano entrambi per rinfrescare le due stanze da letto.

We appreciated the location, the proximity to public communication and grocery stores; the apartment was very clean and neat. Moreover, the beds were cozy and the kitchen was well-equiped.

The instructions for check-in were a little bit confusing and not very clear.

Good location, spacious, air conditioned.

No sitting room, only 1 dirty toilet roll, no washing machine available.

Very clean and had all the essentials, the location of the property was ideal and was very close to all the main attractions as well as a supermarket and food vendors. The communication between the owner was spot on and was around to answer all queries.

The only slight issue is that it’s located on a main road however the noise is only bad with the door open and traffic dies down at night so can go unnoticed

the apartment was very clean and spacious and a nice area quiet but felt central too - a good location and fairly easy to find. the bed was super comfortable as was the room and kitchen was all clean.

I didnt like the fact that you werent told until after arrival that you had to request access to a cupboard area to use the washing machine and dryer. Unfortunately the interaction discussing this with the host left me feeling misled as id made it clear that as long as there was a washing machine and a coffee machine i would be happy with my one night stay when i received my greeting email before arrival from the host. on asking where the washing machine was i was told its locked due to certain hours of not making noise - i checked the booking and had asked for use in the morning once i found out i wasnt able to use it that evening and told it was locked when i searched for the washing machine when i came back from the spa - the host then went on to say that i wouldnt be able to use it in the morning due to the quiet time restrictions of the building but on checking I found i was told the quiet times as differently to what was quoted on the fine print rules i read on making the booking - i only booked this accomodation for the washing machine and dryer as i didnt want to move to my next accomodation i had booked with wet clothes as i had come for several days purely to attend the therme bucharest everyday. Anyway the host did eventually have someone come to open the cupboard and gave me a later checkout after i pointed out that the quiet times were before 8.00 am and so i would have had plenty of time to wash and dry my clothes before check out - so i could have clean dry items for my visit to the spa the next day . it took a lot of texts back and forth before this happened so it did put a dampener on my stay - i also noted that the towels had stains on them even if they were clean and that should be remedied too.

The location was good with plenty of shops and restaurants around, and it had good natural light. The balcony was a plus and it was enjoyable to sit out in the sun. We had access to most of what we needed including a washing machine and dryer. Contact with the host was relatively fast and informative.

The towels were smelly when we arrived, as if they hadn’t dried properly. The tv remote was quite difficult to use but that wasn’t a huge deal as we were out most of the time. There were no cleaning products to help us clean up after ourselves, plus the flat wasn’t super clean on arrival with some staining on the bed sheets and towels.
