Luxury City Center Apartment – Garofita Romana

Shower had good pressure, that’s it.

Nearly everything. Bed was uncomfortable and the Duvet on the bed didn’t even cover it fully. The apartment was cold and the heater didn’t work. Some of the lights didn’t work. There was no radiator to hang wet towels on and the radiator in the kitchen didn’t work. Despite being told there were amenities included, there wasn’t. No shampoo or conditioner. Some of the towels were dirty. Netflix worked the first day and then we were kicked out. (Another thing that was meant to be included) TV remote didn’t work properly. The owner of the apartment despite saying they were available to take phone calls, messages etc was NOT. Rang several times and left several messages before finally getting back in contact. Lastly, on our first full day there - at 1050am (ish) a cleaner lady turned up and wanted to come in to clean. (We were unaware of this and told her that we hadn’t heard of anyone coming to do this). Issue was resolved by her ringing her boss and she seemed sympathetic but her boss did not see bothered at first for the mix up. He eventually apologized.

It was excellent, only in my opinion there should have been more sheets to change and towels, a larger number of towels and sheets as well as cleaning products available to guests

Property is central for lots of cafes and shops. There is a fantastic bookshop right next to the property and several art galleries. It's a clean and very functional apartment. This is great for a one or two night stay.

The property is quite stark - bring toilet roll and it could do with simple little extras like a holder for tooth brushes in the shower room and coffee/tea in the kitchen. There isn't really an interior community space for sitting but the balcony is a pleasant place to watch the world go by. There is a washing machine and dryer but you have to ask for access and cupboards to be unlocked.

The access was easy and fast. The accomodation is in a safe area and it easy in a strategical point. There is a supermarket on the other side of the road. The room was clean and also the toilet. Only one towel was dirty and had some make up on it. However, you have plenty of it, so no problem.

Good facilities, good location, responsive host, hot shower, relatively easy to access.

We booked 2 apartments and they are in separate buildings, separate addresses, which we weren't aware of from the description. They are a 5 min walk apart, so one to keep in mind for families/less mobile groups. Bed a bit stiff, also an odd glow-in-the-dark painting in the room!

The apartment was very nice and modern,,and the neighbourhood , was very pretty, safe and convenient!! We enjoyed our residence.

The only problem was the transparent curtains ,that allowed the morning light to enter early in the bedroom,,so we had to wake up early in the morning ,not relaxing at all,since we were on holidays!!

The apartment is in a good spot, easy to access. The large bedroom is the best part of the space, so cozy at night with the TV in front of the bed. I’ve read that people complain about traffic noise but in my opinion it wasn’t too loud, acceptable in a city like Bucarest.

Shower water flow, the courtains in the bedroom were personally too light (i prefer to sleep with deep dark) and the blanket a little bit small for 2 people
