I'm reviewing again as my Booking account keeps harassing me! I stay here when in Belgrade, and have absolutely no reason to stop staying here. The apartments are great, the beds are comfortable, showers are hot, kitchens are quite nice. Anything you could possibly want, including my co-working office IskraSpark, are no more than short walks away. Bus service is good. Central Zemun is maybe a 5-10 minute walk, with restaurants, exchanges, post office, bars, craft beer places, cafes, churches of multiple denominations if you are religious, bookstores, etc.

I want to explain that last review I mentioned it was 'difficult' to get from Zemun to other parts of the city, neglecting to note at the time I stayed, the City of Belgrade had torn up, and closed entirely, the main street of downtown Zemun, making it a travel nightmare of biblical proportion. All is now better than before and transport is restored! No worries now. In fact probably better, more convenient, than a lot of other areas of Belgrade.

A quiet place fairly close to the old town (10 min walk). Friendly hosts.

Some household items are quite old or worn out, it would make a difference if they are renewed/replaced.

Comfortable beds, well decorated, mostly clean.

Avoid staying here during the winter months. The AC remote was taken away from the room, and the host wouldn't return it, claiming that the AC was "only for cooling". After asking about the AC, the host told us that we can "use the blanket if we feel cold". There is a small radiator that in no way can heat up the whole room to a decent temperature. It is warm only if you sit next to it. The floor is cold even if you're wearing two pairs of socks. The bathroom temperature is freezing cold. Probably below 10° Celsius. Stepping onto the bathroom floor with bare feet is similar to stepping on ice. The apartment room temperature is below 20° Celsius even with "the radiator" working constantly. Also, since you can not flush the toilet properly as the water is released through a "dimmer switch", which means the pressure is low, there is a warning not to throw toilet paper in the toilet, but to throw it in "the two trash cans that you have in the apartment", which is pretty inconsiderate, considering the fact that you have to wipe your ass.

The communication was very good. The location was excellent, in a quiet area. It was also very nice decorated!
