The day we left was our best day Rude staff Broken blinds Paint peeling off the ceiling Self catering kitchen with no utilities Very unkempt apartment Even when we left she just shut the door and walked away! Will never in my life stay there again and will recommend the same to everybody.

location was handy 5 minute walk to most needed places..however lifts are quite busy and full.stopping a lot.had a stove hotplate but no cooking or heating pots/Fry pan be good ..lots of sharp edges to cut or hurt when bumped into..very small rooms..not going back..

Firstly the good points, The Base is in a good central location on 2nd Road, on a baht bus route for easy access to the rest of the city.

Now the bad points. The description of the property states there is a microwave in the kitchen. There wasn't one. Also that there is a flat screen tv with cable channels. Although there is a tv, there were no channels available and it wouldn't connect to the internet to be able to stream content either. Apartment was generally in a poor state of maintenance with dirty tiles and peeling paint in the bathroom. Laminate flooring had gaps in and most walls were dirty. Air conditioning in bedroom would only work for 10 minutes at a time before switching itself off. Worst thing is that they take 2000 baht cash deposit at check in then try to find any little excuse possible to not give it back at checkout. The cleaner came to check the room and ran straight to the bedroom to examine every bit of the sheets and pillows then the bathroom towels. Given that they do not clean or replace clean towels throughout the stay, of course there would be some normal marks found, but for this they wanted to deduct 1000 baht from our deposit. Definitely better properties around Pattaya for similar or less money. 100% would not recommend.

Kettle that wasn't faulty and scalded you,plugs for sinks,wifi quicker than dial-up,whole property run down.broken locks,50% of sockets taped over and unsafe. Turning up 4 hours late to return deposit. Failing to provide requested items that should have been there.
