Very nice hosts, free water, free bine rental - just perfect!

I enjoyed my stays at Day Off House so much, I stayed there 3 separate times while I was touring the North of Thailand. The hosts were amazing, friendly and helpful. I was able to leave my suitcase in storage for a few days between each visit while I toured around the area on a motorbike. The property was clean and comfortable, and there is a communal area with a kitchen which made for a nice atmosphere Next time I come back to Chaing Mai I will stay here again for sure.

Great value for money and really great host She helped me with a lot of questions and provided me with numerous tips on things I enquired about Like the "free filtered water" to reduce plastic waste - great initiative Share kitchen is well kitted out with appliances and dining area

Better insulation is needed in some of the rooms as they get direct sunlight and really bake in the sun (these are converted steel shipping containers) Takes forever to cool down as a result of the steel holding heat The property should be more upfront on what "walking street" they are referring to as the "known" one is more than a km away These are the only two issues that marks it down from a 10/10

I had a wonderful stay at this peaceful accommodation, perfectly located within walking distance to the old city and local markets. The highlight was definitely the three adorable resident cats—so playful and curious, they made the place feel like home! The kitchen was well-stocked with free food, coffee, and tea, and there were affordable drink options available too. Parking was easy for both cars and motorbikes. The host was absolutely amazing—so friendly, welcoming, and genuinely lovely. Highly recommend this place for a cozy and relaxed stay!

The hosts were nice, the room was also nice and sparkly clean. Quiet area. A few food vendors hundreds of meters away, also close to 7 eleven. Water was a bit small, but very nice smell body soap, though. Communal open kitchen with microwave, free coffee, tea, and chocolate. Fridge you can put your stuff in. They also have 3 cats who liked to follow you around.

Location was a bit far from the airport (we walked there), and a little bit far from the old city center, but it doesn't really matter if you rent a motorbike.

The king room i stayed in was nice and spacious, comfortable desk to work and all facilities like shower and toilet were very new and working. The hosts let me use their bicycle, which was nice and is convenient, because the house is about a mile and a half from the edge of the old city. The neighborhood is fine, not central but quiet. A lot of hotels on the block and thus even a few new coffee places.

The host could be a bit nicer. She (the daughter, not the mother) seemed like she was always bothered by my questions, and her whatsapp communication was so plane bothering rude. I stayed a week and don't have anything nice to say about interaction with the hosts, unlike some other reviews here. Probably I wasn't that lucky or stayed at the wrong time, but I didn't find the vibe of the place to be at all friendly. Sort of affected my impression of Chiang Mai in general. I'm sure there are more friendly people in town though, just not at this location.
