"Unpleasant surprise."

A cute little place with well kept cats.

I arrived on Sunday and was happy with the place but was woken up at 8:00 Monday morning to loud construction work in the neighboring building. I instantly understood why the owner wrote on the booking page that she can’t do anything about the noises in the other building. To me “noises” and a constant sound of drilling and hammer banging are two different things! I wish the owner would have said the truth! I was unable to sleep, and of course it was impossible to do any work. I packed my bag and found a different hostel.

It was lovely, it felt like home and the owners are so nice and helpful with anything such as scooter rental, laundry etc!

The madras was a little too hard, otherwise everything was great!

"Great place to stay off the busy streets"

People are amazing. A very comfortable bed, a good toilet and a shower, the common area is stuffed with snacks and more. The manager is great and communication even via WhatsApp was quick. We got lucky that the house cat had 2 wonderful kittens with her, during our stay. They are clean and don't get into the rooms, and it's a pleasure watching them running around the yard.

The sound proofing is not perfect, if you have late hours noisy neighbors you will hear them talking even (I am talking about the room straight next to yours) , but ultimately the room is great and clean. Most of the neighbors during our stay were quite respectful.

Amazing place to stay if you're in Chiang Mai! The host and her mother were super friendly and accommodating. The location is in a quiet area outside the old town, but close to all the local attractions. Great place for solo travellers or groups. There is a communal kitchen which is great for meeting people. Another plus is that there are adorable kitties running around.
