The Cave

Fantastic location with very easy access to public transport, hire cars, taxis as well as a short walk into the heart of the city. Good shower with hot water and comfortable bed, and a very pleasant helpful host who always responded very quickly to any messages.

This property is actually in a basement with no natural light or window. It was fine - very clean and everything we needed was there, but the limitations of the kitchen meant we didn't want to prepare anything other than breakfast there, and we weren't keen to spend any daylight hours inside.

Excellent location. The host was very helpful. and gave very useful tips and advice and was very prompt to address any questions. There were welcome drinks. Very peaceful and quiet area on the basement. Spacious rooms and has a very good kitchen with all necessary items to cook.

Very little liquid soap provided in the almost empty containers for 3 people for 4 nights in the shower and wash basins. The property is tidy and clean but my wife and daughter noticed a cockroach on the floor once. May be an aspect of this being a basement apartment with no windows.

I loved my stay at The Cave. Its central location made it easy to discover the city, and was close to tour pick up locations. Supermarket, bus, train station all very close. The apartment is very cosy, has everything you need. I managed to watch movies in the evening by connecting my usb to the TV.

Good facilities, e.g. fridge, stove. Spacious and well located for station. Friendly communication from host and comfortable beds. We appreciated the welcome drinks and snacks.

Lack of windows.

Nice and clean inside, with the basics. Does the job and has a good proximity to everything in ljubljana.

No aircon. Tiny kitchen and overall the whole room was as basic as possible considering the price. Was in a horrible location in a very dodgy side street behind scaffolding.

The Cave is in the basement of a building so it is very quiet inside. Easy walking to the main sights of Ljubljana and to the train and bus station.

No heating during our stay.
