Sundsvall by M - Apartment

Die Unterkunft war in einem sehr ruhigen Wohnviertel. 20min zu Fuß in die Stadt ist vollkommen okay. Die Unterkunft war sauber und ordentlich und es war alles da was man gebraucht hat. Waschmaschine und Trockner inklusive. Uns hat der Aufenthalt sehr gefallen und wir würden definitiv wieder kommen.

Bel appartement, grand, propre et bien équipé. Nous avons été très bien accueillis par Marcus à notre arrivée. L'appartement est à 15-20 minutes à pied du centre ville dans un quartier résidentiel très sympa.

At first, we really liked the place and even immediately wrote to the host to thank him for how clean and comfortable everything was. However, later we realized there were some things to note.

The apartment lacks sound insulation. The family living upstairs woke up very early. Children started running, crying and making noise. The ceiling was shaking until they were taken outside. As a result, we woke up immediately and couldn’t fall back asleep. You can also hear noise from the street, although it was weekend and there weren’t many cars. In the evening, we thought we would always stay in this apartment when traveling to and from Norway, but now we realize that’s not the case. Regarding parking — it is free, but not in the yard; it’s on the street. How safe it is remains unclear since the car was full of belongings and could attract unwanted attention.

Lovely comfortable appartment just outside Sundsvall centre. Very calm.
