Penzion Chopok - Apartments

The apartments are really reasonably priced. I was a big fan of the ski storage room with a special shoe-drying radiator that made the shoes dry and warm after each day of skiing. The hosts were lovely and made sure we felt like at home in the apartments. I really liked the location - albeit it is not ridiculously close to the slopes, the location is still superb. There is a Ski Bus Stop (Demänová, HILSON) literally 2 min away from the apartments. The ride to the Bela Put takes approximately 15-20 min by bus. There is a supermarket within a walking distance from the Penzion Chopok which made it convenient to stock up on groceries. The apartments itself were really lovely - they had everything we hoped for - a private bathroom with amazing water pressure, cosy and warm bedroom, and small but useful kitchen & small dining area. There are hobs, there is a small fridge. I can totally recommend this place and would 100% come back is I visit Jasna again.

The walls between apartments could be better insulated as I was able to hear my neighbours. Luckily they were quiet (as we were too) and none caused any disturbances.

It was a big plus that the location was really close to reach the Jasna resort either by car or ski bus. We had a good communication with the onwer, though only in Slovak/Russian but she helped as much as we needed, so we are thankful for that. Also there is a dedicated room to put your skiing gear during night which was a big plus. We recommend this place if you are looking for a decent apartment while going skiing or doing other activities nearby.

Couple of things to keep in mind - there are 2 single beds put together not a large double bed so that was a setback for us. The beds are ok but very worn out and had a wooden frame in between which troubled us a bit. Unfortunately there are only 2 plugs available in the living space. Concerning you have two desk lamps and you need to charge phones/laptop it was clearly not enough.

It was close to Lake Liptó and the Low Tatras, in a quiet street. The room had everything they had advertised.

The landlord needed help to communicate in English, but she was very kind and helpful.

Clean and comfy, very hospitable owner. Everything you need is available in the apartment and shops and restaurants are nearby

very nice and near the river. Anna the host was very friendly

The house is in a good loop close to the ice and liberty caves. It is very quiet and free parking. They gave me a free bottle of wine.

The hostess didn't speak English. There was no coffee or tea in the kitchen.
