The location of the apartment is perfect, it's a 10-minute walk to the city center. There are stations nearby and you can even use public transport. The apartment itself is very cozy and clean, and we had everything we needed during our stay. We used the kitchen frequently, and it had everything that made us feel like home.

The bed in the bedroom is too soft, but that's the only downside.

There were beds, electricity and running water. The location was good.

Where do I start from. First of all the property ads show the building in front of the actual apartment and we were mislead to believe that there is a balcony. Second there was mould in the bathroom. Third the mugs weren’t washed before being put away and there was no dish soap to wash them. Fourth- air conditioner not working so it was cold all the time. Fifth the response times of the host were very late which made me feel uneasy about check in/out instructions. Sixth the sofa was stained and fragile= unusable. The utilities were dirt.

This apartment was genuinely dirty, not just “missed a spot” dirty. The bathroom was filthy, with hair and grime on the floor, toilet, sink, and shower. The bath mat was old and visibly dirty, and the mop used to clean the floors was itself filthy. The floors throughout the apartment were dirty and sticky. There was a strong musty smell as soon as I entered. The bed linens felt old, damp, and unclean. The kitchen surfaces had visible dirt marks and old, caked-on food on the table and counters. The kettle was so dirty it needed to be descaled and disinfected. Amenities were bare minimum and cheap: low-quality towels and linens, thin toilet paper, and only about 1.5 rolls provided for a two-night stay. The duvet cover looked old and unclean as well. I contacted the owner immediately and explained that this was unacceptable. To her credit, she came the next day and cleaned the apartment herself and said she would fire the cleaning company. After that, the apartment was much cleaner, and she was friendly and apologetic. However, this does not erase the first night, the smell, or the inconvenience. I should not have had to document the dirt with photos, explain how to clean the apartment, or show her how to properly clean the kettle. This level of dirt was not from one careless guest. It was clear buildup over time, which points to poor oversight by the owner. Several reviews already mention cleanliness issues, so this is not an isolated incident. The apartment has potential, but the initial condition was unacceptable. Cleanliness is not optional, and guests should not be used as quality control.
