KATA PENTHOUSE SEA VIEW private POOL

Nothing as the property was not available to us. We arrived late at night only to find the property was closed for renovation. How could that happen? We had to find alternative accommodation. after repeated requests to booking.com we were told we could find alternative accommodation- this message arrived 2 nights later. We are still waiting to hear about our request for a full refund. Now being asked to review the property. Not good enough booking.com.

You walk up that hill and those stairs and the exhaustion of it all is completely forgotten when you look out at that view! Simply phenomenal! For what you pay this place is beyond worth it- its got character and the staff are brilliant My only real suggestion would be a some slightly more comfy beds

Again just the beds and a washing machine would have been stellar but otherwise it was magic. Thank you all for such a lovely stay!

We stayed at Kata Penthouse Sea View Private Pool, and our experience was overall wonderful and memorable. The apartment is spacious, well equipped, and offers absolutely stunning views over Kata Beach. Waking up to the sight of the ocean and sunset felt like a dream. The penthouse had everything we needed, equipped kitchen, comfortable bedrooms, and a large living area. The private pool was clean and refreshing, balcony was huge and it was amazing to have it all to ourselves. The place felt private and peaceful. It’s worth noting that the apartment is a bit worn in places, showing signs of age here and there. However, everything still worked well, and it served its purpose beautifully. The space was clean, functional, and had a cozy charm that made us feel at home. A few other things to keep in mind for future guests: The location is on a steep hill, which means the view is incredible, but getting back up from the beach on foot can be tough in the heat. The drainage in both bathrooms was poor, and after showering, we had to manually push the water toward the drain using a floor squeegee. It wasn't a major issue, but something guests should be prepared for. Check-in and check-out went smoothly. Overall, we were very happy with our stay. The combination of space, privacy, and that amazing view made our time at Kata Penthouse truly enjoyable.

Absolutely amazing views, in the center of the city, next to the beach, shops, restaurants. Very spacious and comfortable even for 4 persons. And very helpful and kind host. A lot of stairs up to the apartment but it definitely worth it.

It was up a big hill then lots of very steep stairs again to get to the apartment. Very impractical with suitcases. It wouldn’t be appropriate for a lot of people. The apartment was very dated and there were ants all over the kitchen. There was no privacy in the bathrooms and they flooded completely whenever we took a shower.

Great location, great size, the pool is much smaller than in pictures, more a large jacuzzi ,

can be noisy at times .

The hill leading up to the hotel and the stairs after that to the room. However, not a problem for a normal person but can be hard for elderly and less fit people.

It is in a small hill and you have to go through a lot of stairs but apart from that it is totally worth it

Place was well located and it was so near to the beach and many food outlets just round the corner..

One negative thing is to climb till the 3rd floor with big bags..but it was worth the climb at the end.
