Good value for money. Leo met me when I arrived and gave me the keys. Very centrally located, just a 5-7 minute walk from restaurants, bars, tour company offices. There's a supermarket about a 10 min walk away too. There's a mini fridge in the room which is nice to keep your water in as well. I didnt cook in the kitchen so cant speak to that.

It's very basic accommodations, you get what you pay for. There is no soap or anything in the bathroom so make sure to have your own. They give you one roll of toilet paper, after that you are expected to get your own. I was there for 5 nights so needed more than one and I wasnt aware of this rule but the owner gave me another one when I asked. The mattresses are really old and you can feel the bed springs which is very uncomfortable. I let Leo know and he gave me a mattress topper which helped. Also you can pay an extra $2 USD per night to get a window AC.

Thanks Leo for picking me up at the airport at the ungodly hour of 2 am, and being forever helpful. It's only a 10 minute walk into town. Very quiet and safe neighbourhood.. Rooms basic buts that's all you need. Cold shower. I had a fan (it was advertised as air con but only 3 of the rooms seemed to have it). There were two chairs. The bed was a bit lumpy but OK. For the price, just fine overall.

The host was very caring of my needs. He drove me to the bus station to inquire about bus schedules & drove me there the following morning. When the bus was full, he drove me to a shared taxi station to make sure I could get to the destination in time.. On my evening of arrival, he brought me to get bread & drink, & to show places of changing money. He advised which alleys to avoid, & which items should not carry around. His guidance & kindness made me feel settled down quickly in a new country.. His skills in helping newcomers plus his hospitality should receive the highest score of 10

Simple, clean accommodation, nice people around. Close to the old town and sights. Good value for money.

Unfortunately, you don't sleep very well without air conditioning.
