Pacific Beach Butterfly Suite

It is not a apartment ,it is not a suite,it IS a room in someone's home. Yes you have your own entrance but right next to the bed is a locked door to the house and you can hear everything through it.

The suite was extremely clean and the bed was very comfortable! Access to the unit was super easy and convenient. The location of the suite was great as well! Close to the beach and a ton of shops and restaurants!

I arrived and no one was able to greet me to give me the keys. The email giving me details was confusing. The keys were the same as those for the entrance gate but the door handle did not open. A maintenance person tried to open, without success. He ended up opening the other door from inside the house and we had to spend our stay without being able to lock the door... We weren't allowed to wear our shoes inside, there was no sugar, the fridge was rusty, it was cold and there were many words in the apartment telling us "don't waste electricity". Please, or close the door if you are smoking outside... Very very bad experience. Our host did not answer the phone, and she never called back.

This was an absolute find! Terrific on every level. There were so many thoughtful amenities left for guests it was delightful.! We only had one night but will stay again for sure. We’ve told everyone at our over the weekend event, how awesome Butterfly Suite was (at the risk of it being booked up all the time and we can’t get in next time!!). Thanks for being an exceptional experience!

Minor thing here… the people upstairs had very heavy feet walking across the floor. Easily solved with earplugs.

Very comfortable and tastefully decorated room.

There was a great deal of human activity outside the front door because of a city activity center immediately across the street.

Booking.com gave me the wrong address when clicking on the directions link within my reservation. Not the properties fault, it’s bookings fault.
