Upstairs was a bit noisy

The only thing that was decent was the fact that the property owner was relatively easy to contact, but not willing to to budge with concerns.

I informed the property manager that I did not want to stay in the unit for the second night due to many concerns, not to mention location. I was told by the property manager that “You had sufficient time from when I booked, to asses the safety of the area prior to staying” Unfortunately, I live at the other side of Pennsylvania and was not going to drive 3.5 hours one way, just to “assess the neighborhood”, it was simply NOT possible, not to mention the comment to me by the property owner didn’t make sense! The extra rules posted in the facility (which is also NOT on the listing), weren’t the main reason for my early departure. I’ve stayed in many hotels/motels in my lifetime, but a facility such as this, was a first for me, so some of the questionable “rules” seemed out of the ordinary in my opinion and were not noted on the listing that is supposed to be provided prior to booking. There was an emergency exit” paper sign taped to a door at the foot of the bed, which seemed to be connected to the actual home that is above the renovated garage that was turned into a place to the I noticed two entrances to the facility within 20 feet or so apart which said “25” so it was difficult to figure out which one I actually had to enter, which was most likely the other entrance to the home above the renovated garage. The emergency exit” door did not lock properly from rental side of the door and could have potentially gave access to the unit above, even though the doors I entered were able to be locked, which was a safety concern for me.

Getting to the property. Somewhat hidden

It was clean

I did not like the fact that the entrance was at the back and they have the same number as the one on the the front entrance. There is no sign board and it makes it difficult to even locate the place or direction anyone, my Uber was cancelled twice because of that. Yes I got a long page of instructions but I find it very abnormal not to have a sign board on the road to make it easy to access the property. I was even shocked that this property qualified to be on Bookings.com.

The owner was accessible and very patient with me when I had questions. I appreciated her staying on the phone with me until I was in the facility. Overall, good stay!

The hostess was really friendly any time I've talked to her. The place was super clean & had cooking equipment which made it easier for me to not have to eat all my meals out for the time I was there.

I'm tall, so the shower stall was my only issue in the sense of space. But with the bathroom being the size it is there's no way to get a bigger one in there.. but if I had any complaints that's the only one.
