The trip started with me not being able to access the property. We made contact with the host who responded thirty minutes later. Only after I mentioned I would dispute the charges. He did instruct me that the pin that booking.com gives you is not the one that opens the door. So dig through the six emails you get confirming the property. One has the secret pin. The people that the listing says are on the property to help, can not give you access to the room. No matter whether you uploaded a photo ID or not. Once we accessed the room, we noticed the sweltering heat and cigarette smoke smell. We searched for an AC and found a window unit. In case you are going to be cute like me and turn it down then leave to cool the place off… it’s not gonna cool off anything more than the room it is in. Then we went to sit on the bed. We hear a funny noise and looked under the bed to see two broken slats. When looking at the bed closer, we noticed some less than appetizing stains on the linens. The place gives you such a nasty feeling my wife wouldn’t even let me sit on the floor. Windows open all the way on the 18th floor. That may come in handy if I have to spend a minute longer in this place than I have to. Looking forward to a refreshing shower after a long day of travel. There was a used bar of soap left in the bathroom. The curtain bunches up in the floor of the shower and makes it slippery and dangerous. We ended up just paying to go find a hotel. moral of the story, if the price seems too good to be true, it probably is.

parking was kind of difficult and we had to be switched because the first property wasn’t clean at all. The first property was full of gnats And leftover food everywhere. Although our room was changed as we waited, we weren’t accommodated. I feel like we could have at least received a late check out bc we had to down Size from three rooms to two rooms
