Cozy East Haven Apartment - Walk to Beach!

Such a beautiful location - easy access to a couple great restaurants and a wonderful public beach

The location is ideal for us when visiting family in CT, and brings back memories of growing up nearby on Long Island Sound near a cove river. The house is showing its age with settling and warping, and sometimes odd electric switch locations, but has been well maintained and updated. Windows and AC are good, WiFi is good, plumbing works well, parking is fine. There are plenty of linens and little things to make your stay easier: utensils, small appliances, games, plenty of storage space, etc. Walking adjacent Cosey Beach Ave from end to end is about 1 mile, so it makes a nice (and popular) 2 to 3 mile round trip stroll with detours onto the shoreline and to the marshes. Nearby Sandpiper is good for seafood and grilled sandwiches; I loved breakfast at Gutiz Restaurant & Bakery on Main Street, about a three mile drive.

There is some flooding near the entrance after storms. Be prepared to wade through some deep puddles if it rains hard.

The beds and pillows are HORRIBLE. Couch in front room was hard and uncomfortable. Very low budget.

Excellent location. One block back from the ocean but a beautiful view. You can lay in bed and see, smell and hear the ocean!!

we had some problems setting the air conditioning but our host was very helpful the public beach is a little ways away and it is not possible to walk along the water

Very clean, perfect location and walk to the beach and the owners are very friendly and helpful if you have questions! We’ll definitely be back!

Location/view. Master bed was comfortable. Close to restaurant. Nice walking area.

Only one deck chair. Oven was filthy. Some remotes either missing or didn’t work. No wash cloths. Sofas not very comfortable. Lacked room darkening shades/curtains.

Spacious, pretty/ tasteful. Great kitchen and bathroom
