Cozy East Haven Apartment - Walk to Beach!

Being close to the shore we experienced the smells and sounds of the sound, bringing back some nostalgic memories of living nearby many years ago. The location is easy walking distance to the public beach, and near a salt marsh with a small river. Parking was convenient and easy (but note we were there in mid-May). The apartment was well equipped and comfortable. Little things like coffee filters for the drip coffee maker, and some cooing essentials in the cupboard enhanced our experience.

Being an older place built on a shore expect some idiosyncrasies... initially finding light switches was a fun challenge, and floors/doors had a "natural" rather than a "geometric" structure. None of this really detracted from our stay.

The cleanliness, the location, the tranquility of the surroundings are fantastic. Most beaches are within driving distance. Would recommend to anyone looking for an affordable vacation rental in CT.

Close to beach..close to my daughter.

Clean and comfortable. Beds were good. Very self contained with laundry, and ability to cook. Tv worked well.

Rather steep steps to gain entry. Another entrance on the front corner would be much easier.

The location was very quiet, peaceful and really close to the sea, restaurants and a little shop in walking distance plus a bus that takes you to town. The apartment is very spacious and clean and the kitchen fully equipped.

We would have preferred a more private outdoor space a little bit away from the walkers on the street but then again there were not that many.
