CasaViva Pacifica - 2BR Sleeps 10 with Firepit, BBQ & Shared Yard - Walk to Hillcrest Fun, Near Zoo, Balboa Park & Beaches

I stayed in the property with my mum (in her 70s) and two adult children (aged 25) for 10 days, including the Pride and San Diego Comic Con weekends. The location suited all three generations for both of these events and as a base to explore the city. The property was really spacious and accommodated us all well. The kitchen was sufficiently equipped and even had an electric kettle! The host provided clear communication about the different door/gate codes and informed us when she was expecting a work person in.

It is not obvious from the description but the property in the one below the top floor, this meant we had noise from neighbours above and below. As others have noted, parking is problematic, especially on the 2nd and 4th Monday and Tuesdays, but the host warned about this the week before we arrived. It would be useful if the description also noted that the garden is three floors down some steep steps, which wasn't a problem for three of us but inaccessible (along with the laundry room) for my mum.

The property is in a good location for seeing San Diego, particularly Balboa Park, San Diego Zoo and the Old Town. The property is clean, spacious and well equipped with a full kitchen. The neighborhood is also quiet and clean.

Some of the kitchen stuff needs to be replaced, pans, pots and plates! Super Scratched and some of the plates chipped, beside that we loved it

The home was very spacious and centrally located. The whole process was very fast and easy.

Parking was a bit rough but we were already told before arrival.

Great facilities and value to accommodate multiple people!

Parking was a little difficult. I had to park a few blocks away a couple of times when I was returning around 8pm-10pm.
