This was a studio apartment, right across the street from Balboa Park. The check in process was very easy and they did have coffee and sugar along with a few water bottles. The area was very quiet

This was not the fault of the place, it was just a little small. Fine for 2 people and okay for me and my two kids, but I would not recommend for 4 people.

Staff was onsite during business hours and was very responsive to inquiries online and in person. There is coin laundry and vending machine at the facility, and can exchange coins with staff if needed. The unit itself is clean and well equipped. Bed is comfortable.

The complex is situated next to balboa park so you are trading prime location with the dirtiness and homelessness of any downtown. Free street parking is available but away from property, or you can pay to park in the parking lot. Even though the furnishings are nice, the entire complex is like a motel with upper and lower suites. The suites within each vertical unit share an entrance and individually has a security code. Walls are very thin so you are at the mercy of your neighbors. Street noise is bearable, but we unfortunately had a rowdy group who played loud music and had visitors. Some of their friends didn’t know the code to the unit and kept banging on the door for entry. They came in and out of the unit during the night and into the morning. With this price and location unfortunately it draws a certain type clientele. At the end I rather pay for a hotel to get a good night sleep.
