Lovely little apartment Loved having breakfast on the front porch and an evening drink on the back balcony Kids liked their room with bunk beds Bathroom had a great shower Walking distance to bars and restaurants in North Park - we can really recommend White Elephant Asian Kitchen, and Hillcrest Bar. Sprouts Farmers Market is very convenient and we had no problem finding a parking space nearby.

As others have mentioned, parking is an issue. Because we knew this going in due to other people reviewing, we were not surprised by it, but it needs to be taking into account. Each night we needed to park about 3 blocks or more from the house. Earlier in the day it would not be a problem, but at night (we were touristing ever day so we returned at night every night) most the parking is occupied. Additionally, on 2nd and 4th Mondays and Tuesdays the street sweeper/ no parking issue on half the roads made it far worse. I got up at 6am to move the car out of the 'no parking 7a-10a' zone and had to park about a half-mile away. Again, we knew this was coming so not a big deal to us. House needs a kettle for boiling water. We used the empty coffee maker, but a kettle would be a nice addition. Also there was no dishwasher detergent. Minor hitch. We would rent here again.

Great house, everything prepared for an awesome time in San Diego. House very central.

Some stuff was stored in the closet.

Complete kitchen. The bathroom was new and very clean. 3 bedrooms. Enough place for a family of 5. At a short distance of the public transportation system and grocery stores

Very difficult in 2023 to find quarters in the area for the laundry machine and the dryer. The backyard and the BBQ were not accessible for renovation. Workers were present during the week. It would have been appreciated to be notified before and get a price adapted to this situation.

The floor was a Little bit dusty,

Plenty of room for our family. It was nice to have a toaster, coffee pot plenty of pots and pans, paper towels, bathroom supplies like shampoo, conditioner, body wash. The stuff you sometimes forget. Plenty of bathroom towels. Quiet neighborhood. We felt safe enough to leave our door open. There were grocery stores within walking distance (half a mile or so). There were sand toys to take to the beach. There were tables and chairs on the porch for siting outside.

No parking. It was very hot inside when we got there. Only ac was in the bedrooms. There was a sewer odor when you turned the bathroom sink on. We had 8 people in our party, 7 of them were female. A roll or two extra of toilet paper would have been nice, we ran out. The coffee cups were stained and needed replacing as well as the plastic cups, they were very dingy which made you think they were dirty. Other than that there were plenty of dishes. I could not find any pot holders. A dish cloth and towle would have been nice, there was a sponge which worked ok. Salt and pepper would have been helpful as well. That's something everyone uses. There was not a number or a way you could contact anyone if you had a problem. The information available at the house seemed like old information and not to helpful. Games and toys for the kids were partials. I organized the puzzles, but everyone of them had missing pieces. The drawers they were in were a mess. There were little records for a music box but no box to play them. They were stuff that I played with as a kid. My grandkids had no idea what they were. Needed more up to date children entertainment, likes games or something complete. I'm not talking electronics up to date just puzzles, card games something inexpensive.
