Lovely views, and solitude

Location, surrounding mountains and foothills, covered/inside braai/bbq area with seating and supply of firewood.

Missed pedestals or as least small shelves next to bed; toothbrush holder and/or larger shelf in bathroom would have been nice; price quite high for size of facilities

Was a Lovely place to rest for the night, very tidy and neat and would stay there again anytime. The host was very welcoming and enjoyed the stay.

It was in the middle of no where, Karoo scenery all around and in the distance you could see the sheep herder taking the sheep out to graze, it was just peaceful and a different kind of beautiful

I would probably just put a small table with chairs in the braai area so should it be windy or rainy one can sit in there and eat and enjoy the scenery

Fantastic place to stay. Very quiet and everything needed to self cater. Brilliant shower and kitchen. Beds super-comfortable and had an excellent nights sleep with a glorious view of the stars through the windows. Would be an ideal place to stay with mountain bikes. Highly, highly recommended. Laingsburg as a town does not have alot to offer but the Eltos Karoo Farm certainly does. Thank you Ellen for letting us stay. We will be back next year for longer.

Loved everything about the Eltos but other than takeaways (wimpy, KFC and steers) only restaurant seems to be at Grand Hotel, and it was fully booked the night we were there.
