Ronelle was very welcoming and made us feel at home. The location is amazing. You can have your meals overlooking the vineyards and in the morning watch the sunrise. The guesthouse and property is well kept and very clean. It was very windy the weekend and we did not get the opportunity to explore the riverbank. But will make a plan to return and explore. Even though there were no aircons in the guesthouse, each room had a working fan which did the trick. We booked for 10 people, the unit could easily sleep 15. What was great, there were enough chairs and crockery to support all the guests.

beautiful setting in the country - easy spacious entertainment room with kitchen and inside braai. Could use a little landscaping on the outside areas.

From the moment we stepped in the host, Ms Ronel was very accommodating and helpful and very friendly ,we felt at home in her pressence and she ensured that we at ease and happy before leaving we will definitely be back cause this is truly a family and fun accommodation

Ronelle is a fantastic host. She is very kind and accommodated our needs wherever possible. The farm is peaceful and rather large so lots of different places to explore and see. The beds were comfortable and the bedding was warm. The shower pressure was strong with nice hot water. There was enough wood to accommodate for our needs and to stay warm by a lovely fire. There were complimentary naartjies / tangerines that are from the farm (which was a delightful touch) as well as rusks and droëwors.

The design of the cottage is a bit odd with the one big bedroom that is separate from the main cottage and it is really cold inside. The one bathroom is also located outside which is not ideal for the cold and wet whether. One of the bedrooms inside the cottage you can only access by going through one of the bedrooms. The bedroom connected to the courtyard has a fairly large gap at the bottom of the door where the cold winter air would pump into the bedroom as well as the window by the head of the bed is very difficult to close as the security bar is in the way of the handle. Many of the windows did not close properly so the cold air was pumping into the rooms through that.

The area and property itself is breathtaking!! The host made it extra special with gifts and heaters to warmup the place...simply magnificent...Thank you Ronelle for the wonderful droewors and bottwl of wine

It's a spacious property right on the river with braai facilities outside and inside. Exacly what we wanted.
