Sea Shell

No hot water the next morning. We were there to attend a wedding (which the host was aware of) and they locked the front door, so we couldn't get into the building that evening.

Location

It is near impossible to check in. No one was there to meet us, there is no signal, so we had to keep driving up and down the road to try contact someone to let us in. We had said we were on a strict time limit and yet it still took us 30 minutes to check in. On checking in we were not given all the information. No tea or coffee at all on site.

It has a great unobstructed view of the ocean (we saw dolphins the second morning), a patio from which you can braai and walking access to restaurants and the cliffs. The bed is very comfortable and the linen fresh and soft. The shower has good pressure

The restaurant downstairs and general noise from the street below disturbs your sleep as one has to keep the windows and door to the balcony open in January due to the heat (it would be great if there was an aircon), the key to the door jammed constantly and certain aspects of the property just need a bit of TLC like the cushion outside, a new kettle which isn’t tethered to the wall, a stove which is in working order etc

Breakfast was fine at the Salty Restaurant, however it was not open every day during our stay.

We did not dislike anything.

I loved the stay beautiful and peace on the beach

Extra fan would be helpful as unit gets very hot on a very hot day ...
