The location was great. Close to shops and sea. It was safe and spacious. We enjoyed ourselves by the pool

The cushions on the living room couch had a foul smell. There is no table in the living room to place snacks and drinks.

The place has a lovely view overlooking the beach. There are shops which are walking distance and plenty to choose from. One of the key attraction is being able to sit on the patio and watch the morning sunrise while listening to the ocean waves crashing onto the rocks. The apartment is well equipped for self catering. I'd definitely go back.

Upon arrival it can be a little confusing because the sign is not very clearly visible. Perhaps a larger sign to the place would help.

Location

The cleanliness and the Funiture is rusty and old, the smell in the house indicates the house has not cleaned in a while. The floor was sticky, we requested the place to be cleaned again. We had to buy our own mop and cleaning supplies so the place could be recleaned.

- Like the view - The rooms of the place are very nice and spacious - Very comfortable and very nice apartment. - Love the swimming pool and walking to the beach. - The gate at the back was nice, and it was very safe to use and walk to the beach - The area where you can view the beach sit and watch your kids at the same time swimming at private pool - It is a very nice place. I wouldn't mind staying again there. - Kitchen and open plan were very nice preparing meals and interacting with family-friendly

- I know that it was stated that you need to sort beverages and toilet paper. If they at least made their guests feel welcome....with a beverage at least a 🍪 cookie to nibble a sachet of coffee, sugar, or milk, and let your guest feel welcome......preferably, and a note..... Enjoy your stay at Whale Rock!!!!😊 😔 none of that. No steel wool to wash the pots. No black trash bags. I came across a lot of cockroaches. Kind of not nice seeing it 😕...... The towels were very small not bath towels seemed like cheap towels. Very thin and it kind of heard your skin. We couldn't use the gas braai as it seemed very sticky and had not been cleaned well. The area is not nice the beach is very dirty. Other than that it was ok 👍.

The night shift security was arrogant The price can be a little better We had to wait and check in late -17:30 as the accommodation was still being prepped and we could not get extra time upon check out as we were told it was booked again
