Beds were broken. Cockroaches all over the apartment. Shower in the main bedroom was horrible

The stay was okey

We, try to have a braai the first evening that we were there. We opened the braai on the balcony and to our suprise there was no gas available. We decided to cook our meat in the oven and never used the braai. On the day we left we got a message from the lady stating that the braai was used on the balcony and that we were going to lose our security deposit. After we explained that we could not have used the braai we were still fined R500 and we were told that the house manual sent to us was outdated. We were robbed by these people and we will go see a lawyer about this

Sanctioned for not making the bed Linen was old rags, and was accused of leaving stains on it We never had sex, don't know the implications of stains

The owner is just something else. Not honest, and she will continue robbing people. Please do not waste your time and money by booking here. Your room deposit/security fee will never return. We were charged for something that is ridiculously off. False advertisement as well as the place doesn't look like on the pictures. The place is dirty and not in good order. Smelly couch & rooms. It's disappointing in everything. We took this up with her immediately when we realized that she was looking for an excuse to take away our room deposit fee! Be warned!

Very militant instructions on EVERYTHING. Host not the most friendliest of people and very defensive. We conformed check on time at checked in at 3pm however the housekeeper cleaning was still at the property mopping and was not friendly to us at all. Raised this with the owner however got told its process for her to take pictures before new guests arrive. The housekeeper was mopping not taking pictures. The facilities were not great, house is dark, no warm blankets since they don’t provide heaters and very threatening instructions so much that I bought paper plates so we don’t use anything from the place. So I could get my security deposit back, to my surprise you will still be charged for non existent “damage to property” Trish is the worst host o have ever experienced in my life. I do not recommend this place at all. It made our family trip awful. We were never asked after checking on if we were fine. After checking out I have been asked if I know she is a lawyer and need to watch how I speak to her or she will charge me 😂 Terrible. I should have gone back to Margate hotel!
