Affordable.

There was literally no water in the bathroom. We didn't shower in the morning we left. We brushed our teeth with the bottled water we brought.

It was along the route from Cape Town tot Johannesburg, as an alternative tot Colesberg, which was booked put.

1) When trying to call the contact number supplied, at first no answer, and later, was not able to communicate with the lady who answered. 2) The Google map directions supplied were not accurate. Had to stop at 3 houses and knock on doors to get directions to find it after dark. 3) The bathroom / shower, was not clean. There was dirt and mould in the grouting by the tiles. The shower curtain was badly stained with mould. 4) Whilst it was very hot in the room, the room fan could be used to help, but without any notice or warning, the power was switched off at midnight, making the room unbearably hot, and couldn't sleep. The power only came on after 6am again.

Needs some improvement

The room was beautiful and comfortable. The bathroom was large and had a super shower with plenty of warm water. The guestroom was more than adequate for an overnight stay on a long trip. The hostess, Contilda, was friendly and helpful.

The exterior may be a bit misleading, as it does not match the beautiful guest room within the house. The cutlery and crockery wasn't quite adequate.

The bed was clean and comfortable.

Looked very rural and scary - outside the gate and in the yard. Shack like structures. Poor lighting. Walking under bushes to get to the unit. Walk on rubble. The description of what is available is a laugh compared to what is there. For example - it is ridulous to put the follwing on the website: minibar, wifi, hot tub, free toiletries,bathrobe, ironing facilities, kitchenware (unless one fork and two cheap spoons qualifies as kitchenware, carpeted, dining area, garden view. All non existant and cannot even imagine some of those at this location. Is there a rating for scary?
