wifi not working, host gave us another units to connect to. no lights in lounge and kids room. I advised host, no lights for the full stay. live wire exposed on iron stone, dangerous. my wife could have been electrocuted. lounge furniture not very stable/strong. door handles and screws rusted in bathroom.

Respectfully, there was nothing that I can rate positive about his unit at all. Several communications and images of what I encountered on arrival did not meet what was advertised or portrayed on your Booking.com platform/portal. Very disappointed. Only good about it was instructions to where keys were however as for the rest if you had a less than poor rating, that would be what it should be rated.

Email with images have been sent to Booking.com from day 1 and several phone calls to resolve the predicament I found myself in. False advertising at it's best. The flat is absolutely horrific in so many ways and needs a complete deep cleaning, fumigation, upgrade and revamp. I moved out 24hrs later as I could not stand to be in the unit 1 more second never-mind minute. The owner is an exceptionally rude man who uses foul language when speaking to a person which is totally unacceptable in so many ways. He is not willing to listen to what you have to say, over-speaks a person, throws sarcastic remarks back telling me if I wanted 5-star, I should book a hotel which he named and told me to do my due diligence and suck it up and stock complaining. I have never in my life had to endure such disgusting behaviour from a host. Just to advise and so that you are aware, most of the bad reviews were not on your site under this rental and I found most of them via Google search on this property. I was horrified to read them and wish I had found these before enduring this experience. More so that the owner/host stated that he had no complaints from any other guests. He is horribly mistaken and disillusioned and I suggest that Booking.com do their own research and read these which I will be forwarding along with my email of full details of my horrific experience as I cannot think that you would be proud to assist advertising this unit. Surely, this is not the standard by which Booking.com operates? I can honestly tell you that I did not need 5-star, I just needed a unit that looked as it should have and that what was depicted on Booking.com was what we got.. for R200.00 more per day and only due to my last minute booking, I did not have to book at a Hotel as he had instructed me to do, I found a very suitable place that I did not have to hang my head in shame to host my elderly mother in or be embarrassed to have family over to visit.

It was very handy to have a Checkers food around the corner. Easy access to the beach and restaurants for breakfast and dinner. The lift was a bonus.

Unfortunately some of the dishes weren't clean, and the curtain and duvet in the double room were ripped. We felt the place could do with a bit more attention.

It is close to the beach and shops

The place is in a residential flat. So one does not feel that you are on vacation. Entrance has a steep hill. The room was not in a good condition. The windows were unclean. The curtains in the main bedroom were torn. The kitchen didn't have enough utensils. The place needs an upgrade.

The place was dirty like the sheets pillows bathroom it did not meet my hygiene expectations or rather what i expected .The couches were very dusty and it wasn't pleasant at all

Location ( close to beach and checkers ) Water pressure was good. Beds were comfortable.

The entire apartment was very dusty. The light in the lounge did not work. The TV display has an issue. Part of the screen is discolored. There are also no channels available to watch. There was a floor fan was that incredibly rusted and dirty and basically a health hazard just being in here. There weren’t enough cutlery and dishes but we didn’t even use them because the kitchen was crawling with cockroaches so we didn’t feel comfortable using any of the few items that were in here anyway. We couldn’t leave anything out in the kitchen- not even teabags as the roaches would get it. Very uncomfortable The bedding had make up stains and other minor marks which, considering the rest of the apartment brought into question if it had been washed prior to our arrival The ceiling light in the room with the two single beds doesn’t work. Neither does the fan. The cupboards are in need of maintenance. Wall and doors are dirty The bathroom blinds are rusted. The shower head also needs replacing. Lack of general cleanliness and care. If these issues could be addressed it could be a great spot for a short term stay considering location.
