Comfy Menlyn Maine Appartment

I absolutely loved the apartment. It is fully furnished with a kitchenette and a washing tub. It is located just a few minutes away from Menlyn Mall. The caretaker, David, was such a friendly person. He gave us a warm welcome. It was a wonderful experience

Very clean and neat 'granny flat' type accommodation that is well-equipped with good wi-fi and DSTV

Headboard of the bed looks dirty and although very clean, the place has a bit if a rundown look. Laminated floors have seen better days, cracked tiles and no airconditioning

Nice quiet and clean

To be honest, not much

Double bed (luckily we are quite small people) shower door falling off, half the light bulbs not working, no toiletries aside from hand soap, no coffee/tea station, not even a bottle of water, no hand towels, lounge lamp had nowhere to plug in, had to ask for wine glasses. This place needs some attention. I own an Airbnb which isn’t as expensive as this flat, but offers so much more in terms of finishing touches, offers toiletries and a small welcome pack for travellers. I expected more at this venue. And one more thing, I chose it because it’s supposedly close enough to Menlyn on Maine to walk to shows (tbh that was a guest review) No way would you walk there at night and across a main road. We had to Uber.

The house was very clean.

There was no washing powder. No shower gel. No broom. No mop to mop after showering. The shower door was broken. Please put lace so we can have privacy.
