Poipu Plantation Vacation Rentals

It was very comfortable and bright. The glass louvers over the windows allowed for both light and a wonderful breeze. The location could not have been more perfect, and we walked almost every place, including to the ocean and to restaurants. Most of all it was the ownership and staff on site (Maddie) who made our stay extraordinary.

Wir waren drei Tage da und haben niemanden zu Gesicht bekommen, der zum Personal gehört hätte. Wir haben unseren Schlüssel in einen Briefumschlag erhalten und beim abreisen wieder hingelegt. Es war nicht möglich, sich ein Frühstück zu zubereiten. Es gab eine Maschine mit Kaffeekapseln und heißes Wasser für Tee. Es gab auch kaltes Wasser. Sonst nichts! Auch nur Papp – und Plastikbesteck und Geschirr. Der Kühlschrank war siffig, und der Grillplatz war es auch. Auch die Grills selber waren seit langem nicht mehr gereinigt. Mit 450 $ pro Nacht war es ein extremer Preis, der durch nichts gerechtfertigt ist. Wir hatten in anderen Anlagen für etwas mehr als die Hälfte des Geldes einen optimalen Komfort. Wir bekamen täglich zwei Mails mit Maßregeln und der Frage, wie es uns gefällt. Auf den Hinweis, dass im Schlafzimmer das Decken Licht nicht brennt und das WLAN äußerst schwach ist, erhielten wir die Antwort, dass man unsere Sprache nicht verstehen könne. Eine Abhilfe gab es nicht.

The owner was obnoxious and rude when we asked him questions. When I called him on his rudeness then he was nice to us. no breakfast. no kitchen. small portable fridge on bathroom floor.

You may find yourself in a bedroom and bath, with a shared communal dining and seating area. A coffee bar with no sink or running water, only a hot water vessel, instant coffee and bagged tea. Refrigerator is dormitory size, stuffed with food from 2 other bedrooms All of the occupants from the other rooms were equally as shocked to find this arrangement. Not what anyone expected. We were expecting separate units with full kitchen as in the website photos Please beware of this deceit With no response from owner from my multiple accounts of switch and bait.

The location is great! It’s a small, quiet complex. The bed was super comfortable and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. Full size appliances made it very comfortable and convenient for cooking.

Living room furniture is more of an outdoor style. After a long day of activities, the couch and chairs aren’t necessarily conducive to laying down/lounging. Definitely not a deal breaker!

Host was very responsive, kind and proactive. Accommodation was clean, well facilitated, relaxed, comfortable and spacious. Location very central to the unique island infrastructure, so negotiating the island to see everything was easy but a car IS necessary. We saw turtles, seals and whales on our very first day … it was surreal! Simply adore Kauai ❤️❤️❤️
