The location is spectacular, popular restaurants and the swimming beach just 20 mins away. Beds, pillows and seating were comfortable.

The railings weren't cleaned when the flat was cleaned, I asked for clean bedding and towels on the Monday, this was only done on the Tuesday. Some basic maintenance is required in the appartment, such as the couch armrest getting lose, the light in the main bedroom (on the fan) doesn't work. Many of the plugpoints aren't secure in the all and rusted. The bathroom light and extraction fan keeps flickering.

Lack of security..theft of a guest car on property during our stay. Very very old bathrooms..with no clean linen or towels.. Definitely not worth to be on vacation booking websites

The location was very nice. It is on the ocean with private beach access. There is very easy access to many restaurants and coffee shops. It was very easy to get in and out with plenty of parking and security.

Unfortunately, the property is outdated. The apartment could use a facelift. It was easy to communicate with the host, and we were happy to have a bed for our baby as requested months in advance. One of the main reasons that we booked this location was for the air conditioning. Unfortunately, it did not work during our stay, and the host was unable to resolve the problem before we left. It was disappointing, considering how important this was to us. I would love to revisit Durban in the future, but I would not stay at this location again because of the air conditioning issue and the lack of care for the facility.
