Spacious Cottage

I was apparently double-booked for my 2-night stay, and I ended up having to make alternative arrangements for the 1st night. They said they would refund me themselves the process with booking.com would take long. I accepted this and was thankful to them for being helpful. This was on the 1st of November. As of the 18th, I am still waiting and they either ignore my texts, or give me story after story. Ridiculous. At this point, I don't know if they were really double-booked, or I got scammed.

Close proximity to where I needed to be. It's a residential area and quiet which was to my satisfaction. The property was easy to find

Cleanliness was a huge concern. The bathroom was dusty upon our arrival. The host set out Club Mykonos shower gel and lotion for guests to use. It is clear the lotion was used by a previous guest/s. It is most likely items from the host's stay at Club Mykonos at some point. We wanted to use the pan and other utensils but could not use the pan, pots and other utensils, as it was not cleaned properly either by previous guests or the host. The filth and grit were packed on the surface. I feel it is gross to expect guests to use such filthy pans etc. We were still on the property the morning before our departure and the WiFi was just switched off. The blankets in the cupboard are clearly old and used and had an unpleasant smell to it. Our last evening we could not shower because the water was freezing cold and had to warm water in the kettle and use the basin to wash. The shower tap was broken and we had to figure out a way to let the water run. This is unacceptable for a place who advertises on Booking.com and expect guests to pay. I will never recommend this accommodation to anyone, neither will I ever book the place again for a stay even for 1 night.
