Magnolia Cottage is one of the best places we have ever stayed. The apartment is incredibly comfortable and has absolutely everything you could possibly want in a short stay accomodation including fantastic kitchen, wood burner, barbeque, swimming pool and smart TV. Our only regret is that we only stayed two nights - we could easily have stayed much longer.

A beautiful cottage,with all the modern facilities needed for a couple on holiday, with lovely furnishings throughout. The cottage has its own swimming pool, BBQ and patio, with seating in a lovely garden Brigitte is a lovely host who could not have been more helpful. Also, the most comfortable bed we have experienced on this 3 week holiday to South Africa. Excellent power backups (in the event of power cuts due to load shedding) for essential items such as Internet and TV with streaming apps, Netflix, DSTV for sports, movies, etc, so no evening is ruined if you decide to stay in and watch TV. We found this comprehensive protection from power outages quite unique as many other properties do not offer this. A dedicated off-road car parking space is also available and easy commuting around the Cape Town area and close access to N2 motorway and Airport. Close access to shops and restaurants. We will stay again on our next visit to the Cape Town area.

Well equipped , soft pillows , super fast wifi . All queries were resolved very quickly and the owner went out of her way to make us comfortable

It is impossible to sleep late , as the windows let in light at 6am & one of the large windows did not have block out . You are also on the grounds of the family home , which means you’re not entirely private . However, we never saw the family .

Magnolia Cottage is exactly what I expected from the pictures. It was spacious, with a well-kitted out kitchen and exceptional bathroom. Though the property is next to a main road, you can hardly hear noise from the street, likely due to the trees on the property boundary. It is central, yet maintains an air of quiet around it. The nearby Palmyra shopping centre has an excellent Woolworths Food store for all your needs, as well as a few other places that are great for breakfast and so forth. Prior to arrival, instructions were sent via WhatsApp with clear directions. Brigitte was there to meet me with the keys on arrival, and to give me a mini-tour. The apartment was well-serviced daily. There are a few lights provided to use during South Africa's infamous rolling blackouts, with a mini inverter/battery to power the TV. The kitchen has a gas stove that is not reliant on electricity. All-in-all, an amazing stay!

There was nothing not to like about the cottage. The one regret I have is that I did not make use of the sparkling pool in front of the apartment.
