Gone to the Beach

We lived in Scarborough 20 years ago and have now come "home" full of anticipation. The village and the beach were, as always, indescribably beautiful but still relatively untouched. The house was an incredible recreation of the Scarborough flair we knew and loved. We will be back!

the externals like the emptying of the sewage whilst on site and the electrical and water issues. These were however communicated and external factors that we could live around. The TV was the only internal issue. We don’t usually need it but it was disruptive to have the swop and then finding it didn’t work in the end.

Location was superb. Walking distance to the beach. House was perfect for our family of 5.

Absolutely perfect location and accommodation for 6 adults and 2 kids. Lots for everyone to enjoy..scenery, beach, games, fab place to stay. Thank you.

A light down onto the braai would be great

The house is beautifully furnished, and tip top organized. Comfortable beds, pristine linen and towels, a homey feel and very clean. The whole set up of the house gives everyone enough privacy when needed, and yet come together in spacious surroundings when wanted. There are two large outside areas and we used them both. The morning porch and the evening get together with bbq, open fireplace, table tennis table in very good condition. Plenty of seating space all around. There are extra blankets for cooler evenings. The TV room is nicely situated and has a nice decor. The whole decor of the house was beachy / holidayish and comfortable. The showers are walk in and large. The master en suite bathroom is stunning with a large shower and inviting bath tub. I wish our stay was a bit longer to make use of all the house has on offer.
