"A nest of creativity in the Franschoek valley"

A very special place, we walked the labyrinth and enjoyed sunny dips in the happy dam. We've just emigrated back from the UK after 17 years. Andrea and Kobus's creativity is so inspiring.

A kettle for the gas hob when load shedding. But the pot did work of course

Very clean, neat unit in beautiful, tranquil surroundings!

Shower curtain needs upgrading and bathroom very small, although sufficient for our short stay

Whilst these cottages don’t have all mod-cons ( think load shedding ) it is owned by an artist and is just the top place we stayed in SA. V close to the Franschhoek , the biggest treat is the swimming pond and the garden. Not to be missed if you have an artistic bone in your body !

Load shedding meant 6pm to 8pm with candles but it was very romantic. There can be a lot of wildlife in the garden but apart from birds we only saw tortoises !
