Malachite Cottage

FANTASTIC......Geoff was there to welcome me and gave me a detailed account of all the facilities. Great knowledge of the surrounding areas. Pool a huge plus for a dip in the afternoon. Walks on Longbeach or on the hills surrounding the property are perfect. Shelley and Geoff asked me to join them on a walk which was great as they took the time to fill me in on the places we visited along the way. There are a few local restaurants and takeaways in walking distance also a deli, grocery store and convenience store at the Shell garage 5-10minutes walk from the cottage. If you are reading this review just book it.

Everything was excellent

Shelley and her husband were amazing hosts. Very friendly, easy going and accommodating! They were always available if/when we needed them but also gave us space and the freedom to use their garden, braai (BBQ) and pool.

The fact that we had peace quiet and no disturbances also the host accommodated us with breakfast request also

There wasn't a TV in the room and had to watch in lounge

A bit noisy at times with neighbourhood dogs barking but understand this was beyond the control of our hosts who were lovely.

The area calm and peaceful very safe ...

Jst very little store in the surrounding area of the accommodation.
